About

“Whatever It Takes!” That’s Christie’s personal motto that she adopted in her collegiate days at SIU-Carbondale. She was fortunate enough to have several strong mentors with one of them being Dennis Lyle, from WCIL-FM Radio, whom she worked under. Dennis gave a motivational speech to the Chamber of Commerce about W.I.T. and in that moment, Christie new W.I.T. was the one thing that set her apart from most others since she was born. Her father, Chris Gaugh had continuously poured integrity, diplomacy, and ambition into her and raised the bar on “taking care of customers.” Having worked alongside him as a teenager, Christie saw how he loved, appreciated, and took care of all his customers so it was instilled in Christie at a very young age. Her brothers and Christie always joked that their Dad, “loved his customers more than his kids.” “I often wonder if my kids feel the same way as I did” says Christie. I’m so grateful for everyone that chooses me and trusts me to help them.

Her W.I.T carried over into her successful career at Enterprise Rent-a-Car/Car Sales and now her 12+ years in Real Estate. Christie’s W.I.T. combined with her extensive marketing background and deep love and caring for people, set her career a sail quickly in Real Estate in 2011. Christie’s proven strategies for both buying and selling have proven to be successful for her clients.

“Every client has different needs and goals that they want to accomplish” and it’s my job to understand those goals, write a plan to achieve those and help in any way that I can. Many say that Christie does “too much” for her clients, but she doesn’t think so. For Christie, Real Estate is also a ministry and a way to serve others so that they may fulfill their path.

When Christie is not spending time with clients, she spends time with her husband Jeff and her two boys, Bryson and Barrett and their little dog “Oliver.” Occasionally, her step-son Kyle comes home and they all get to hang together too.

Christie’s other passions include volunteering at church, planning and throwing client events, supporting the local schools, and music.
